Parents as Partners
Parents become partners in the learning process through participation in individual and group sessions, observation of their child in the classroom and participation in school activities. Parents and visitors may observe the children and staff in classroom and therapy sessions via observation windows and listening monitors without disrupting daily activities. Parents are kept apprised of their child's progress through a communication journal, telephone calls, e-mails, and letters.
