Comprehensive Educational Evaluations
Designed for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in preschool through high school, Clarke's Comprehensive Educational Evaluation (CEE) team at Clarke in Northampton provides diagnostic recommendations primarily for students who will enter or are presently enrolled in mainstream schools. The CEE program attracts families from all over the country who will find an interdisciplinary team of experienced professionals including teachers of the deaf, speech-language pathologists, audiologists and psychologists to help families understand their child's hearing loss. Using Clarke School's whole-child approach, our team of evaluators assist parents in making appropriate decision regarding their child's education. Parents are present during the entire evaluation process which concludes with an exit meeting among parents, school representatives and evaluators. Within a few weeks of the evaluation, Clarke sends a comprehensive written report to the parents and the student's school, including detailed information on each portion of the evaluation, integrated test results and recommendations. Each CEE is made up of the five following components:
