Early Intervention
The experienced staff at Clarke School - New York helps families as they discover how to enrich their baby's life with meaningful sound and language in the Early Intervention program for children ages 0-3. A supportive home environment is as essential as a solid educational foundation in helping children with hearing loss become independent individuals in a hearing world. Our goal is to give parents confidence as they make decisions about educating their children. Clarke School - New York focuses on the needs of the child as well as the family through individualized therapy sessions and toddler groups.
Toddler Group
Designed for young two-year-olds, (23 months to 30-33 months), this group gives toddlers the opportunity play with other children. Parents observe the group from outside the classroom, allowing children to observe their peers and develop the foundation for strong collaborative, interactive play skills. The group follows a defined routine and includes opening circle/greeting, book reading, floor/table activities, snack, music/movement and closing circle.
