Mainstream Center

Training

The staff of The Mainstream Center is available to present workshops and other types of training on hearing loss to interested groups either on our campuses or at your location. Over the past thirty years, we have provided ongoing, long-term training of professionals, multi-day events, one-day workshops and keynote presentations.

Examples:

  • We have trained professionals in the educational system of another country in the organization and implementation of a mainstream program.
  • We have conducted multi-day conferences on mainstreaming students with hearing loss.
  • We have conducted workshops on hearing loss, mainstreaming and oral transliterating throughout the United States
  • We have provided speakers to a variety of organizations interested in the education of children with hearing loss, adjustment to hearing loss, mainstreaming and oral transliterating.

To assist you in discussing our possible participation, we need to know:

  1. The Purpose and Size of Your Organization
  2. Your Current Training Needs and the Target Group
  3. Your Local Resources
  4. Your Program Agenda
  5. Tentative Dates
  6. Financial Resources

If you are thinking of holding a training event or are in need of a presenter, consider inviting us to help you. Contact:
