Professional Training Institute
As part of Clarke's commitment to training professionals in the field, we offer a number of professional development opportunities through our Professional Training Institute. Some of our workshops have focused on cochlear implant preparation, socialization of children with hearing loss, intervention strategies and language implementation. Clarke recently hosted audiologists Richard Seewald and Shane Moodie who presented on: The Desired Sensation Level (DSL) Method of Hearing Instrument Selection and Fitting for Infants and Young Children and Dr. Carol Flexer who spoke on: How to Achieve Spoken Communication and Literacy Outcomes for Children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
